hello i have a 96 1500 with 5.2 318 and i needed to replace the fan and i switched to a electric does anyone no how to install it? and is it a pain? thanks

 

The Flex-a-Lite 180 Extreme I bought couldn't have been any easier, went right into the stock shroud! Hell, the hardest thing about the install was getting the damn clutch fan off...

Now I am talking about a 3rd Gen here, but I can't see your 2nd Gen being any different...

 

ok thank you. i bought just the electric fam asembly from murrays and need to no how to put it on or a website or video of step by step instructions. my old fan torqued it self and spun around the opisit direction and came off on its own so im good there gettin it off haha and i bought the eletric one hoping i dont run into this problem again cuz when it broke off it f**ked up my radiator and trans lines and pretty much everything else in it way lol

How much did that fan run you Hammer? Did it go in place with some proper attachments or zip ties? And most importantly, does it cool the same as the fan clutch?
