just squeeking along
well i went to the lake on saturday and sunday, filled the tank (which it is a 26 gal tank) towed the toon all the way there w/out a problem. sunday night i come home and I have this SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK. ALL THE WAY HOME. oh man drove me nuts,I thought a bad universal, trans bearing going, or maybe a just a rock stuck.
Well to my surprise the front right wheel bearing went again for the 4th time in a 11 yrs. Well I am tired of spending 280.00 or more for these dam bearings. If anyone knows where i can get it cheaper throw me the link or just post it for me.

Sheriff he has a 2500. There is a company out there(can't remember their name at the moment) who manufactures an old school spindle and wheel bearing setup. the initial investment will be more than you are spending now on a replacement hub but will save you time and again in the long run. That all of course depends on how long you plan on keeping your truck.

Maybe the brand of hub assembly he is using isn't of good quality. I can't imagine what else could cause that other than incorrect installation and you should know immediately if you installed it wrong as nothing else should go on right. If the axle shaft was causing it I would think you should hear some terrible noises long before the hub wears out.
