Actually I just did some research about "chargebacks" and as it turns out paypal doesn't really have a say so even if the resolution center finds the seller the winner, it can still be reversed through the bank. Interesting... So all is not definately lost!

I just posted this in another thread a day or two ago, but can't find it now.

Unless the seller has a super excellent reason, or can somehow prove you're jerking the system around (which is very, very hard to prove), PayPal will find in your favor (the buyer's) 99% of the time. Especially if you can provide shipping tracking numbers of you shipping the product back to the seller.

And PayPal will always judge against the seller if you initiate a chargeback on your CC. That way PayPal gets their money back from the seller as well. PayPal isn't a bank, they don't operate by any of the rules or guidelines of a bank.

Yeah when I had my issue i sent the thing back and didn't recieve a refund. i didn't wanna go to paypal but I got tired of waiting. After the claim I got my money back. Of course bad feedback was left. The bastards gave me negitive feedback. ONLY negitive I have ever gotten was from them. Said they didn't receive the part right away and thats why I wasn't given a refund. I put "thats funny cause it was sent out weeks before and no why it took that long to get to you and I didn't get a refund till after the claim". They were some shady people

All these shady companies are why I still buy things locally. If I can't see and touch the merchandise, or speak to and strangle, I mean convince the person who tries to jip me in person, I just wont buy it. I don't like the idea of getting stuff over the internet, too many variables out of my control.
