Default Have you checked you lie-O- Meter lately

Mins says I am geting about 12 MPG, But the math adds up to about 15 in town. Pretty pleased with that actually. Is everyones MPG as far off as mine is? I think this is why thes trucks get a bad name for fueol econimy. Doesnt get much differnet MPG than my 93 chevy 2500 did.

Mind giving us the cold hard numbers for your math?

Have you adjusted your math or computer for larger tires (if you have larger tires)?

These kind of threads make no sense. I don't have the lie-o-meter in mine and I can barely get 11mpg in town with the 5spd. Hwy numbers are really good however. I don't believe any of these trucks can get 15 in town. Unless "in town" has a different meaning than how I drive.

I'm sick of these threads as well. Just like the guy earlier claiming his friend's V10 2500 got 20MPG.

I'm calling B.S. on his numbers. Something somewhere is off (if you hadn't guessed my intentions from my initial response to his post).

And just like the guy in that V10 20MPG claim, I highly doubt this guy can back up his claim.

I don't get why people post these types of threads anyway. Who cares if you get great mileage? I personally get 100 miles to the gallon in town, so there. Jason, I'll PM you my numbers and you can come by for a ride on my unicorn any time.

I don't understand it either. It's a full size truck, and even if you don't know anything about cars or trucks in general, the slightest bit of research will tell you not to expect good fuel economy.

A unicorn? I've always wanted one of those. If you let me go for a ride on your unicorn, you can stop by my place and I'll let you go for a ride on my dragon. Sound fair?

She's a bit more temperamental than a unicorn, and not as fast, but it sure helps relieve stress when she blows up things with her fireballs.

I had fireballs once, but I found a cream that relieved the pain.
