I posted this becasue I read about all the bad fuel mileage when I bought the truck. I didnt buy a gas getter, I have always owned big gas hog trucks. My Mileage is taken in Semmes Alabama. I drive it intelligently and my last numbers came out to 14.7. Close enough to 15 to me. My point is that I am wondering how many think thay are gettign worse that they are just becasue they trust the POS computer dodge stuck in these trucks? My truck has stock height tires and 4:10 gears. I bett that is people here checked theri mileage instead of relying in the lie o meter, You might find its just that. I just got this truck. Very low miles 115K, and I did a complete tune up on it when I got it.

Also, like Jason mentioned, many people have larger than stock tires on their trucks, which will throw off their mileage calculations, even doing the math yourself.

I ran the numbers against GPS. Not odometer. I learned along time ago that odometers/speedometers on most vehicles are not as acurate as we think they are. .

I get 12-14 around town. I have only took one highway road trip and got about 15. But that was in harsh wind/weather conditions in the winter with 4wd needed a couple of times during the 2k mile one way trip.

edit. Forgot to add. No lie-o-meter here. Those are miles to tank calculations.
