Hahns what is the ratio of the factory rockers? 1.6? Wouldn't that be and extra .100 lift then or am I way off. I teach an electrical course four nights a week so im getting fuzzy on my engine calcs.

Don't know on the actual decimal conversion, but I would assume that it would be a difference of .018. The stock ratio is 1:6:1.

The stock RATIO is 1.6.

The factory 5.2 cam has .432" of (valve) lift with 1.6 rockers. Divided by stock 1.6 is .270", times the HS 1.7 ratio is .459". That's a difference of .027".

Thank you sir. I thought I had something wrong there somewhere. I have spent the last three nights at class trying to explain ohm's law to a bunch of people whom were sent up from the employment office for retraining. None of whom have ever changed a light switch by the way. Sorry for being OT.
