Anyone have pix of there truck with 3in lift and 285/75/r16?
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of there trucks with a 2in/3in lift and running 285/75/r16 or 305/75/r16? Just wana know what they will look like. Thanks! and btw what do you guys think about the pepboys tire? Dafinity Dakota m/t?
i've got a 2 inch lift and running 265 75 r16. i've got 2 inch spacers in the front and have extra leaf springs in the rear that add up to about 2 inches. so take a look and thats pretty much what it will look like! as far as the tires go, i haven't heard anything about pepboys tires. the ones i have on now are bfg all terrain but i'm going to try some toyo all terrain same size.
Although I'm using 3 inch components, my lift is a bit over 3 inches at this point.
However, I can give you information on your tires. I've had a set for about 3 years
Off road, they take airing down well, don't chunk on rocks,
and have worked well in Arizona mud and sand.
They are also excellent on road, survivng two long distance trips
and the extra sipping resists hydroplanning.
Like most mud tires, they don't do well on ice,
but have pin holes should you wish to mount studs.
I also like the unique look, which is aggressive but IMO not blingy.
I run the 285/16. The truck came with that size, and I've never had an issue with rubbing, lift or not.
The only issue I have with the tires is the poor service PEP BOYS themselves
seem to offer. Otherwise I would strongly consider buying another set.
I would never buy a set of over priced BFgoodrich/Firestone/Goodyear tires.
There are plenty of pics in my Gallery/Garage, should you wish to see how they look.

I got 285-75-16s on mine, as far as i know the truck is stock, 4x4 5.9, looks really nice with these Yokohama A/TS tires, damn good tire too, good traction on dirt/rain/dry/gravel, havent had them in snow yet but the way the tread looks they should do real well, i like the look of them too. I rub on full lock thow so thats the only prob i have with them, but i knew that was gonna happen going with a over sized tire.

Thanks for the info! Looks great guys!! Im planing on doing the 3in lift and 285 or 305. i think that setup looks good. Il post some pix when done. Hopefully soon. And BTW anyone know some cheap add a leafs? Because I priced out a 5in block for the rear and it was over $100! Someone told me that an add a leaf is only like $40.
