Lift Kit Help
Most lift makers recommend a 5 inch lift to fit a 315 tire.
I have seen guys squeeze them under a 3 inch lift,
but you'll need the proper wheel backspacing and centering
your axle in the front well is crucial to keep scraping to a minumum.
You might consider a body lift with or without the 3 inch lift
for more clearance.
Since your sport is a '99 it won't be an off roadster. And sport models don't sit any higher than a standard 4x4 ram.

Body lifts have their own complications. Radiator lowering, steering linkage issues, tight wiring, etc. A 3" suspension lift is pretty easy, 5" gets a little more complex. Any lift kit needs to come from a reputable company. Compare what's involved per kit. Some use add-a-leafs in the rear, some use new springs, some have lift blocks. Blocks are bad if you off road, AALs are cheap, complete springs are expensive. Weigh the options and your needs and do lots of research.
go to www.topguncustomz.com and pick up a 2" leveling kit. this worked perfect for my truck when i did this. anything more the 2 in the front and the front would sit higher then the back.
there are adjustment screws to adjust how much you can turn them at full crank I believe...
