Gonna try Tuning up my 1995 Ram 1500
Hello , this is my first post on this forum. I'm NOT very familiar with wrenching on my truck and I'm going to attempt a tune-up. It seems fairly easy, but my question is this : Is there anything I need to know about or anything I need to look out for that may give me some trouble when tuning up my truck? As I said before, I'm just not very knowledgeable when it comes to working on automobiles....any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated....thanks!

What are your plans for a tune-up ?
Here's what I would consider
Plugs
Wires
Rotor cap
Rotor button
Air filter
Oil change in engine , trans (not flush) , diff(s) , t-case if applicable
Fuel filter (should be external from the tank , not sure)
Run a can of Mopar combustion chamber cleaner through the throttle body as directed on the can prior to starting anything
Replace as many vacumn lines as you can which are plastic to rubber for $5 , you may break some when doing the rotor cap and button . The firing order is on the intake and the rotor cap has the #1 marked off .
Cylinder order is 1-3-5-7 on the driver side , 2-4-6-8 on the passenger
Theres a factory service manual in the FAQ : https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html
Might be of some assisance as well
Good luck , any problems , feel free to ask
