That seems like a great deal. The corvette will probably gain value and your truck will lose value over the next few years. If the vette runs good and doesnt have any major problem i would trade him. We used to have a '78 corvette and it was a blast

Yea, that guy must be on crack. Try not to act too excited as you pull out your title.

so whats a nice clean red 75 vette worth ?

i don't know much about them, but i've heard horror stories of rotted out chassis, stolen cars, no title, salvage title, etc. don't let the dollar signs in your eyes blind you.

As someone who's had 3 '70s era Corvettes in the family over the past 10 years, I'd advise you to keep your truck. Friggin' money pits and only unique ones are worth any real money. They aren't as hard to come by as most people think. So glad all 3 are finally gone. Tired of ferrying their owners back and forth to the shop every other week. Daily drivers they are not.

1+ To miami, and just to add: I have family that lives in Independence. I know how harsh Winters can be up there sometimes. Unless you have an AWD or a spare 4x4, don't even think about this rig.

Summary- A corvette is NOT a winter cruiser. Good hotrod material? Hells yea, you wont find a better parts market for that motor, but try one in snow and see how that tickles ya.
