Check Gages: Oil Presure.
Vehicle; '05 2500 Hemi 2wd auto with 9K on the Odo. Yes, just turned over 9,000 yesterday, 09/19/09. Cash Purchased new, 4 1/2 yrs ago.
Problem; Oil pressure gage does not indicate on first 10 seconds at start-up, engine running and I get the Ck Gage lite and annunciator ding. Switch off the engine, again, turn the key on for the instrument cluster to run thru the cks and I re-start the engine. The oil pressure snaps to normal reading. Lately, (two weeks) this has been the start and run procedure.
It does not matter if it is the 1st start after sitting for three days or like yesterday, did a long run then did 1/2 dozen stops two-three miles apart and ran long run home. There were no diffs as I just stated, the starter has to start it twice to get the gage to come up.
Codes shown; There aren't any registered. I have two diff code readers and both shows clean.
Gentlemen, any ideas and suggestion? Gosh knows how I hate the thought to run this to the D-ship.
