Just put a set of 285-75-16 Toyo MT's on my New (to me) '01 Ram and they fit with no problems.

Lower gear = higher rpm at cruise speed

but the bigger tires make up for the lower gear.
a truck with 33's and 3.92 gears should pull similar rpms to one with 3.55's and 29" tires.

maybe i have it wrong though, lets wait on some gearing guru's to say their piece.

haha, I'm just cranky in the morning before my coffee. I'm sure some people can relate....
Seriously, the site Admin should just sticky one thread on each topic once. Then delete all threads with the same question. Nobody searches the archives and it gets really old. "Will these tires fit?" "Why is the tranny not working?" "How do I get more horsepower?" "Is a throttle body spacer worth it?" "Help! Oil loss and pinging?" ........... well you all get the picture.

if we had that many stickies then we would only have one or two posts per page because there would be 50 stickies on each new page. besides, thats what the faq is for.

No there wouldn't. My point is there's only a dozen or so unique topics. It would take up one page and that would be it. Like a library, one could just click on the topic and read all that's been discussed, learn something and be on their merry way. No more need for redundant answers.

well, pm miami and tell him to get a pot of coffee brewing because thats gonna take some time. i'm not shooting down your theory, its just that if there were that many stickies on every page it would get old having everything so cluttered.
