Most just need to use the search funtion. This is the best automobile forum on the net.I haven't seen a mechanical question that that has not been covered completely.

FULLSIZECHEVY.COM has multiple stickies... all for common problems and questions (I traded a Chevy for my new dodge so I was over there a lot) and it worked cleanly and was not cluttered at all in my thinking. Made it easier to find what I needed.

I like this one!!!

if you dont like the way a thread is going...dont post.

if there were lots of stickies...there wouldnt be a need for a forum.

theres only so much you can say about a dodge ram...get used to hearing the same things over and over.

its a forum, not the government...why so many rules.

make people feel unwelcomed and stupid...might as well make this a private club and charge dues.

btw...im very proud of my truck and will answer the same questions over and over and over. if i can help...please ask.

You realize what your saying is why have libraries with fact when we can just ask over and over and hope the guy who bothers to read and answer knows what He's talking about your time around?
No matter how you dice it THIS is definatly a subject that would benefit greatly from a sticky of facts and proven data rather than a bunch of us giving our educated guesses....as a matter of fact when I wanted to know what gears I had judging by my rpms and tire size after searching here I ended up finding a chart elsewhere (dodge forum also) that broke it down nicely...And I'm not knocking this forum at all I'm just being honest... There are some things that make good stickies and I happen to agree with other that gearing vs tire size would be a very useful one that would save a lot of time and a lot of bad decisions from incomplete info or bad advice...
And your right it is a forum open to all constructive methods of helping one another make the best informed decisions... and just because there's a sticky doesnt mean most wont ignore it and ask anyway... It just for the smart ones who know how to search before starting multiple threads on the same thing on the same day
You'll alway be able to answer the same questions over and over for the "others"
Seriously though, lets face it we dont all always use them but Stickies help clean up a forum and that leads to more members and guest finding the info they want and joining, more sponsers$$ and you guessed it more threads on new more interesting or fun topics than "will these this fit on my stock ram?" the hundredth time around .
But I'm just trying to represent the "other side of the coin" here so...
