My rear view broke off at the swivel join, is it possible to weld or use some sort of uber epoxy to get a really REALLY good seal that will hold? The reason it broke is because of my sub -_- I've been without a rear view for a year and a half. I would like to get the same one I have in it now because its the auto dim which I really love. Anywhere I can buy one besides the dealership for $300 lol?

Lol! RIP Billy! I'm just afraid that it won't hold up. My system is a lot louder than it was when it broke in the first place. A buddy recommended JB Weld. Would that work?

You can try whatever you like, but I would look at those links I gave you. Sheriff would tell you to call M/Motors, and I'd agree with him.

jb weld is some pretty good stuff. if you're gonna go that route you might want to give it a shot of some flat black paint before re-installing it.

you could call minton motors too, i bet they have one.

edit: zman, you're a little quicker than me today. like that other thread where we posted at the exact same time saying the same thing.
