Just new wires from the speakers to the deck.

red wire should be the one that turns on and off with the truck for power for the stereo (acc on) the yellow should be the one that stays on all the time for clock and memory presets and stuff.... black is almost always the ground and if you cant find on just run a wire to a metal brace in your dash to ground it to the chassis of the truck....the others like blue and blue and white you can just tape off unless you have an amp...

On my truck, the factory harness was like this:
red/white stripe=switched +12v
pink=constant +12v

Nice thread hijack, BTW.

I was assuming he was using a wiring harness and the factory harness wasnt just hacked off....
