I would run it. The straw is probably going to be in the intake permanently which is no big deal. If you have never fixed your plenum gasket, you can retrieve it when that gets done. The chances of a plastic soft straw being a major problem are minimal at most. Not worth the extra effort to tear it down since it will probably get lodged in the intake anyway.
