Default 2001 dodge ram abs problems

i have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 quad cab 4x4 diesel with abs problems. when i slow to a stop the abs kicks in and the brake peddle get hard and pulsates like i'm sliding on ice. i have replace the rear axle sensor which didn't work so i took it to a mechanic which hooked it to a computer and we went for a ride. it said the left wheel speed sensor was dropping to 0 while decelerating and the others were reading about 10mph. so i took the left sensor out, cleaned it, replaced the brakes while i was in there and still didn't work. went ahead and replaced the entire speed sensor from wheel hub to plug located by brake reservoir, still didn't work. i also hear the occasional clicking when the abs kicks in, sounds like its coming from other side of fire wall but i'm not sure. does anyone have any ideas what to try next. thanks. one more thing, i have no indicator lights on.

Same problem out here, got tired of screwing with it so I pulled my ABS fuse out. No more pulsating but I drive with indicator lights on. They go good with the seat belt light.

finally, figured it out. although the computer said it was the left it was actually the right side. tried to pull the sensor and it just broke off in hub, so after an hour of digging it out put the old one off my left side in and bam, it works.
