Ok the wires you have picked out are only good for things like an HD radio, bluetooth ect. What you need is the harrnest from the back of the deck to the factory stuff. Unless you plan on running new wires from you speakers. In that case you only need the pig tails you don't need conecters on both ends because you will soder the new speaker wires on to the pig tails. Do you plan on running new wires?

yes. that's them.
you will need to splice all the wires from the back of the deck to those pigtails including ignition hot, constant hot, ground, dimmer ? if it has one, and any existing speaker wires you re-use.

if you run any new speaker wires, then you just abandon the equivalent factory speaker wire (up to 8 wires).

for your splices, you can use crimps or solder. i used crimps.

STEP 1 - DISCONNECT BATTERY CABLES !!!!!

that's a nice little deck for the price. note that it only has 2 RCA's. i don't know if thats enough or not ? or how many speakers you plan to amp...

not gonna happen.
the deck will have about 12 or more color coded wires hanging out the back. the truck will have a couple of mysterious factory plugs that are not color coded and with relatively short wires. to prevent having to cut and hack on the factory harness, you use the wiring kit pigtail.

when you're done, it looks like this...
the taped off wires are abandoned speaker wires. used RCA's instead.

Unfortunately. A true wiring harness adapter is rare. Most connect to the car side of the harness with pigtails to be mated to the connector with pigtails that came with the radio. This requires splicing, but you don't have to butcher your stock harness in case you want to pull your HU if you sell the truck.

Looks right. When I pulled that out of the dash I was like what have I gotten my self into. Buts it worth the doing. I'm so glad how mine sounds!
