my buddys stock 5.9 with custom intake bigger cam and custom exhuast sct tuner and 4.10 and a built tranny runs the 1/4 at 101 mph with 3ins lift and 35s..

very true, but most people whow run nos usually have a "little" extra fuel
as in i saw a cummins that was pushing a 300 horse shot of nos, pushing 90 lb of boost, made 900 horse with that configuration
i want that truck

The pro stock type cars run a trans such as a lenco and you only use the clutch to take off then some are air shifted and then you really have a type of a automatic.I would put my money on the 2 speed auto if your running under 2500hp.Ive owned both trans and I could run 6.50's all day long with the auto.Thats if it dosent break on the launch.
I also had a race car with a 5speed and sometime one the top end it would free wheel.
