how would you guys suggest sealing the distributor

Default how would you guys suggest sealing the distributor

for when im goin wheelin i actually never thought about this before anyone whos done it what methods would you suggest?

silicone around the cap......cant remember if we have a valve on top or not

yeah, its just a breather to allow moisture to escape, not sure if it would be a good idea to seal it up permanently tho, just around the cap should suffice

yeah, ill see what i can do itll be awhile before i hit the trails again i gota do my front end =/ ****ty stock tie rods are getting replaced with heims

Agree with Dakota,cheapest RTV sealant you can get + dilectric(sp.)grease on the wire ends.

a friend of mine sprays silicone on the cap and rubs it in. its the liquid lubricant type. rtv should work fine around the base of the cap and i would leave the vent on top open since it has the rubber thing on it.

sounds like a plan lol ill remember to do that before i go out again, which will be after i upgrade from some amazing dodge parts (jk) to something a little better =]
