Default Gonna do a bowl blend... Wheres the head guys?

after much reading and intense investigating i have decided that i bowl blend will be the next thing on my list.

i need someone to tell me the dangers and hesitations to doing this type of head work and any precautions and tips will be greatly appreciated.

this weekend i have drill (reserves), but next weekend im doing the plenum fix and will probably go ahead and pull the heads.

when i finish i will probably have the seats machined and go to a 2.02/1.60s valve also gonna go with the longer 1.7 roller.

i dont really think this kegger mod is gonna make that big a difference... the magnum intakes move an incredible amount of air just like they are.

i did the heads on my truck last fall....how many miles are on your heads? if alot, i would get them checked out b4 and a valve job after.....

you shouldnt have to worry about anything in the bowl area but for your runners, dont hog out much at all....

heres the kit i bought

only 96000 on the truck total and the heads have never been touched. all but maybe 100 of those miles are mine and i have never really run the motor that hard and it has never run hot. the oil has always been changed and has always been the same. the coolant gets flushed and replaced every year.

i know they say these heads are prone to cracking but i believe that is a myth. not saying that there hasnt been cracked heads on 318 mags but im sure everything else on the 318 mag has been cracked or broken or blown all to hell by somebody.

i will have the heads pressure tested to be sure, but i feel like they are good. i did a compression test last month and all cylinders were within 3lbs of each other. id say thats pretty good for a 96000 mile 318.
