The most you'll get out of a truck with an LSD is this:

The LSD keeps the tires from chirping (well, as best it can ).

I also think the stock TC keeps the chirping down too.

In my experience with my 5.2, plats and double plats did not agree with the 318. Choppy idle, low gas mileage, and oddly, they got hot and the gaps changed. Never did figure that one out.

IMO, your best option on the plugs would be the Champions. Seems that the magnums are kinda picky on the 3923 autolites. Some like them (mine falls into this one) and some don't. I would at least try the 3923 plugs first just for the hell of it because they are an uber cheap plug. IIRC, I paid like $10.00 for all my plugs.

I've been on my phone until now, and I just noticed your sig pic...... Those rims are from an off road edition ram.... Is your truck an OR ram, or did you buy those? If it is an OR ram, then you should have 4.10:1 gearing.

So far, I say cover the basics first. Plugs, wires, air filter, injectors......

Ah, Having a limited slip will stop most of your chances of a torching the tires. You might as well give up now considering the stock LSDs in these trucks are about as bad as their transmissions.

I still want to know what type of tire you have on there. If it's an AT, I could almost understand..... Not fully, but it would make more sense if you have a lot of rubber on the road.

its an MT, no, its not an offroad, i put the wheels and tires on there.

and as far as the air filter goes, i think im gonna go with what bluebeast's got, the 14x3 round air cleaner.

and as far as injectors, what do you recomend?

Wow.. Aim.. you truck makes mine look like a slug.
I need to get a good 0-60 time, but need to find a place around here.
My tires chirp when I gun it pulling out of my parking lot onto the main road. Occasionally at stop lights, but rarely. Also, my mom is usually with me(she needs to get her own damn car. I won't let her drive my truck so I'm a chauffeur), so I don't go WOT that much.

Just run some sort of cleaner through there. If you have the 35 gallon tank, it's best to throw two bottles in at the same time. I really don't think you have an issue, but it never hurts. I still think it's your LSD diff that's holding you back. I say quit attempting to scorch tires and focus on a loud exhaust that can set car alarms off.

Have you ever had a chick in the truck with ya and scared the beejesus out of them because you were horsing around? Lemme tell ya, they don't put out when you make them ride with an insane person.

1. no death flash, as theres no factory authorized update sticker on the front core mount, or the pcm itself, if i did have one, its been removed by my sc3815, as thats on tow.

2. plenum, i dont have the funds to do it, and when i do get the funds, im just gonna order the airgap(after new tires) and do away with the plenum entirely, as ive read that the hughes plenum still has the possibility for blowing the gasket.

3. cat, well that could possibly be part of the problem, i know im gonna go with a high perf. one soon, just need some brands to stick with. (suggestions?)

4 .tune up, its in progress, new spark plugs today, cap and rotor less than 500 miles ago. still nothing, msd sf wires coming wednesday, (hopefuly) then gonna run another can of seafoam through it, got some in the tank already, the ran the rest 1/2 boottle through the brake booster vacuum line, just gonna run a whole can through it next time.

once i get this thing paid off, im gonna swap over to some 4.10's and possibly go with a posi lock, or even a detroit locker. something other than this ****ty lsd.

then a beefier trans, possibly an ATS, or similar. might even do a motor swap for a 360 of the same year.

ya, ill be sure of that, and it looks like the previous owner had that tsb in the reroute done, already, as all the wires cross at 90s. will i have to do that same thing, even with the msd sf's that are 8mm?
