Default performance upgrade?
Does anyone know anything about upgraded an 01 ram 3.9L performance wise?

I've see the chip, throttle body, and air-intake. Will these improve gas mileage as well? Is there anything else performance/gas saving wise?

i would check out the dakota forum....we dont get many 3.9s over here

The TB and air intake, sure.

The chip.. forget chips. If you can, go with a tuner.

+1 for dakotas_ram's suggestion, I'd check out the Dakotas forums to for some ideas.

also, they say the v8 tbs work on daks for a little bump

throw a 5.9 in it



the 5.9's are easy to upgrade


or if theres a stroker kit for your motor????

3i believe you can install 1.7 harland rockers on the 6 banger

all most everything a v8 can bolt on

under drive pully...but it will dim the lights till you hit the gas

swap in a 5.9 oil burner, same number of slugs, just louder and more funner
