Default Duplicolor interior paint

Has anybody used this? I'm wondering how close to the stock agate color it is. I was told I would need a **** load of paint to paint my dash top. Not looking to spend 100 bucks for paint

Well, If it's anything like the Duplicolor bumper spray paint, expect it to peel in about 6 months. Mine damn sure did!!!

I bought the Agate Chrysler paint to paint my pillar gauge mount. As you can see in this pic, not a very good match.

A paint store can mix some for you, but it would have to be sprayed with a HVLP sprayer instead of a can I think.

I called the local dealer and they made me give them my VIN for "exact" paint match and said it would be 9.75 a can. I asked if it was the small cans and he said yeah. I said "well how many to do a dash top?" I think he told me 16-18 cans.

They're not THAT small. 4-5 cans, tops.

I wonder if the dealer would get me a better match then going through geno's. I also think I'm gonna ask my body shop guy. See if maybe he can get me a hook up

Miami, is that the 2 gauge pillar mount from glowshift? It actually looks pretty good installed. I got the 1 gauge and tried the screws and caps and it looked STUPID. Didn't fit, and it was cut thin on both sides. I ended up fiberglassing the gauge mount in and painting the whole thing with the rustoleum bedliner rattle can. I mixed up a quart of paint at work to try and match it to the interior, but after looking I can barely tell the difference and will probably leave it that way.
