Friend wrecked her 1500 reg cab. Its got a 318 motor with 150k on it. I was wondering what I could part it out for.

If you take it apart and part it out yourself, you could make some decent money I would think.

That doesn't look like it damaged the engine, for example. You could sell anything off that that is good. The axles, depending on gear ratio, may be worth something (especially to a guy who needs a new one and doesn't want to pay for a brand new one). If the tranny is good, there ya go. Tires, rims, etc.

It might have some work involved, but if you have the time, you could make some money off of it.

Ya i was thinking of taking it all apart myself. She wants 1000 or best offer for it. It drives still and everything. It looks worse then it is.

you should cut the fender off so that you can see if there is any real damage. mabe if its not too bad you can put a new fender, hood and lights on and keep diving it.

is it a short box? if its all just cosmetic damage you might be able to sell the whole truck for $1000 dollars.

Ya the dash is good so is the frame. And just talked to her I can buy it from her for 700 to part it out myself. Oh and yes its a short box.

you may do ok.. but i will take sum time to part that all out..

whats all bad grill,hood fender, light bumper and door

thats a 98+ thats why i asked if that dash was ok,, theres alot of people would that
