My used cowl hood came with a chrome grille, so I figured what the heck seeing as it is a spare. I scuffed it up good with some 180 grit and sprayed some epoxy primer for good adhesion. Finished it off in a gloss black, installed it and changed the look of the truck.

Also add some short add a leafs. Thought it was going to be a tough job but surprised myself by doing it in 2 hours without a problem.

 

The truck looks really good, you did a great job! I like the haeadlights with the black color and all too.

I am planning on it after I purchase some fogs.

Not sure if I want to do it in flat or gloss black though

Very nice! Id go with gloss black on the bumper since it would probly match better on your truck.
