will a 1/2 ton exhaust work on my 3/4 ton? also, does it matter that my truck is a single cab long bed or are all exhaust kits the same on these trucks?

thanks auggie.

Most of the kits listed require a bit of fab work to install. Unless the kit states its only for a regular cab short bed, theres probably enough "meat" on the pipes to make it work.
On my system (vortex), the wheel base determined the length of the pipe between the converter and muffler. That was the key to making everything work, and I had to trim my tailpipes because they were too long.
I would check the listings by wheel base.

Just checked my JEGS catalog....#555-31120 says it fits all wheelbases 94-01 with 2 1/2 dia catalytic converter. 239.00 plus freight.

+1 For Auggie, an exhaust for a 1500 will bolt right up on a 2500 provided you match the truck specs. I.E. short bed, long bed, ext cab, etc.
