I'm trying to get my wheel off to come across one lug nut that was very tight when turning even after the point that it was broken loose. I got it all the way to the end and it just spins.

What do I do from here?

 

Replace the stud and or lug nut. Could be cross threaded.

Obviously you have to replace both anyway, I'd try what Augie said, if that doesn't work, grab the nut with a pair of vise grips and while pulling, wobble the nut up and down. If it's right at the end, the rest of the threads should just shread away.

You could use a nut splitter.

 

i doubt he could get a nut splitter on it due to its location.

i think the best thing would be to pull on the wheel while a helper spins the 4 way so you will be using the rim to keep pressure on it.
