well i wasnt sure on the LT but i do know they made trucks that were 3 inches lower, maybe it was the work class truck only but i dont know for sure

No sure if it helps but my truck is the work style 4x4 and I sit as high as a stock 1500. Well not any more thank you lift kit. So far I like the lift.

My was built as a commercial vehicle ( or export no less) and it sat the same hiegth stock as any other 4x4 stock Ram.

I suppose the possible differences could be attributed to tire size. If my ram(stock) had 235 or 225 diameter tires in it, it would sit about 3 inches lower than with the optional 265's and surely so with a 285 diameter tire.
