Exclamation question about the plugs

Alright i just bought my truck a couple weeks ago and as soon as i did i threw new plugs cap rotor all that good stuff in it within a day or two and drove it from utah to michigan.. now the plugs i put in it were champion platinums and im starting to notice when im in drive and i stop at a light or stop for any other reason my truck starts shaking and idling really rough, if i hit the gas i dont move literally.. now i dont remember anything like this happening before i put those plugs or anything in there im wondering if those could cause something like this to happen.. ive read soooo many different things about the plugs for these trucks its hard to decide, i want to try and change them out before i determine something else is wrong with it...

anyone else had a bad experience with these plugs, what is the best plugs to put in this thing (5.2L 318) i hear all this talk about the autolite 3923s but cant find them anywhere, and is there anything else that works good in these things?

edit: no check engine lights or nothing, and the tranny feels really really good when it shifts so im not really sure

start with the basics, double check your work. maybe you got the wires mixed up. then take it from there. I run E3's and I love them. You should be able to get 3923's at advanced, napa, walmart, so on and so forth. you really don't have to look hard to find them, they're real common. I heard that champion platinum's are crap for our trucks, I guess you can testify to that.

My truck does not like platinum plugs at all. I got the same rough and choppy idle with them. I switched back to a standard copper plug and the chop went away. This is assuming that you have not mixed a wire up.

Ditch the platinums. Stock plugs are champion copper.

yes, i'd think you'd have a very poor idle from the start, possibly with backfire. did the poor idle just start ? maybe one plug wire has fallen off, or laid down on the manifold...

i don't think different plugs make much difference. a spark is a spark.

i just took the champion double platinums out of my truck in favor of my old bosch platinum +4s. with the champion platinums and the champion truck plugs i had a choppy idle on a cold start.
i crossed a couple wires on mine when i replaced my wires the last time but i didn't see a cel. i just heard a really loud backfire when i revved the engine right after the install.
