random part?

Default random part?

1999 dodge ram 1500 van with 120k on the clock. i had to open the trans to replace the governor sensor and solenoid... and i found this part in the pan... any clues what it is?

looks like it might be a shift fork, or even a broken piece of a casting.

did the governor look alright? did you notice anything broken while you were in there?

almost looks like a band end, but you would notice a malfunction. does it drive ok?

one of the two parts looked like crap... the other looked even worse... i dont get it... we did normal maintenance...

finished trans filter and fluid change and it feels like it shifts 1, 2, OD any ideas?

what do you mean by 1, 2 od? do you mean it goes through 1 and 2 then into od?

yeah it feels like it skips 3rd it revs high in 2nd then shifts to od
