Default truck cranks but no spark please help

i had a bad battery in the truck and i went to switch them out and now i got them switched and i can't get any spark
i've checked all fuses
checked coil pack
not getting any spark out though
it seem to be whatever tells the coil to spark is not working???
i tracked the wires but then i loose them in the bundle on the firewall
what tells the coil to spark? what could it be
its a 97 ram 2500 with a 360 in it if it matters
please help

crank sensor controls it, but is your fuel pump turning on?
it sounds like you may have lost your crank sensor. and the pcm threw a code about it, but it was never checked, and now the pcm sees no voltage from the sensor, thus disengageing the asd relay, killing power to the fuel pump, and coil pack, as well as a few other things.

is there anyway 2 be sure if it is the crank sensor? i don't want 2 buy 1 then not have that be the problem
would that cause the check engine light 2 quit working?

the asd relay kills the fuel pump, the coil, and a bunch of other things. you should probly clean your crank sensor first.

does your fuel gauge work when you turn the key to run?
