Fords are not crap, and even if you guys are strict belivers in Dodge, You have got to give props to Ford to be the only large american car company to not take any bailout money. Jeeze Dodge is now owned by Fiat and Chevy, or Goverment Motors GM is dropping one car maker at a time. I love all cars that were made East of Germany

Ford junk? Come on guys.

Don't get me wrong here, I love my Dodge (at times the wife seems to think a bit too much), but they are not much more superior to any other truck out there. Trannys that can hardly make it past a 100k miles (or quite often much less), wheel bearings and ball joints that cant handle the stock tires let alone a 33 incher, steering boxes that are lucky to hold fluid past 75k miles, track bars that will give your truck the ever so loving death wobble, an ingenious CAD system to engage the front axle, a plenum gasket thats will eat oil in less than 30k miles, a trac-lock limited slip which causes a slight explosion when she lets loose, etc., etc., etc.

I would slip a ford 60 under the front of my truck in a second. Hell, I would even swap a 14 bolt into the back (strong and CHEAP).

I don't dislike Ford because of their cars and trucks. I dislike them because they are an evil company that doesn't care about the people that buy their vehicles. When you've lost someone to a Ford Bronco II rollover and had to deal with Ford on a legal level, come back and tell me what a great company they are.

You can say that about any of the big 3, maybe that is changing now. They all made unsafe, unreliable junk for many years.
