yes but i have a single pipe, i dont have a dual adapter. and i use going to get either a cat with a dual outlet, or a muffler with dual outlet. and its cheaper doin muffler so thats the way im gunna go, unless AZ or Advance sells little y pipes

just go single out...cat...single pipe...glass pack...single pipe...turndown before the axle.

will sound like a frickin monster reflecting off the asphault and you dont have to worry about buying expensinve chrome tips.

i had turn downs on my bronco...LOVED IT!

I've read here multiple times from people with the high flow cats that they do make the exhaust much louder when straight pipes from the cat back so it has to have some effect on sound even with one I would think just because it changes the raterate and flowrate changes the sound....(in some cases more flow makes the muffler quieter in the muffler was designed for more flow)

what u want is glasspacks. i have 2 18" on my 4.7 dakota and it sounds really nice. very deep idle and when you open it up its a nice roar

i had straight pipes no cat before this and it was incredibly loud, you could literally hear me almost a mile away, and that wasnt even at 3k rpm.

burning up the valves is more common using headers only you burn up a valve it expands screws up the guide or what ever.. you could run true duals from true headers back and have no problems...

im actually going to order a exhaust sytem for my truck. Autozone can get the full systems and im getting the Vortex kit cat-back, pre bent for the dual exhaust and it was only 309.99. So im not complaining. its got all hardware, new exhaust, chrome 4 in tips. and the exhuast pipe itself is 2 1/2 in. so im not really complaining with it. ill have it on by next thursday

straight pipes will not hurt your valves. I almost spit out the drink I had when I read that.
