Default Very Quick Exhaust Question

Ok since im going to do my exhaust myself, i was wondering,

I have heard that straight piping it will hurt the valves after a while, well what about the mufflers that are straight through (like an exhuast tube (Cherry Bomb Glasspack))

Will this muffler make the valves go bad? or does this one create enough backpressure, and has anyone used this muffler?

a thrush glass pack(s) will give you a deep tone and is pretty cheap. and as long as it has a cat then it shouldn't be opened up too much.

I have a magnaflow duel outlet and it sounds nice. Low gargle at idle, nice purr while cruising and a tuned roar at 3k and greater. Not as loud as a glasspack though.

so you dualed from the muffler, is that what i should do? because my buddy has an account for summit, and he can get me a high flow cat with dual outlet for 154.99 shipped.

my cat thats on there is fine (4 years old, not making noice, not even rusty and i live in MA)

should i just do muffler back, and where did you get your magnaflow? Autozone? Advance? or online

Not as far as loudness of the exhaust. But it will make the exhaust flow better. Hence the name " high flow".

just do muffler back... unless you are heavily modded that is all that you need. its easier, cheaper and works just as well, if ot better.
