Miami, that's a good idea to check with insurance. The only thing is, what if they raise my rates because I made a claim? I don't want to pay a ton of money over increased insurance, like more than it would cost to just replace the parts.

Generally, claims under the comprehensive part of your policy do not trigger rate increases. It is claims under the collision aspect that can cause premiums to go up. Nothing to lose in asking.

 

however...sometimes the comprehensive deductibles sometimes run higher...mines like $800 compared to a $400 collision deductible.

Looks like that stuff is coming off with elbow friction, might want to try some denatured alcohol before xylene, if you are still thinking about going that route.
Its cheaper and much safer to work with, even smells pretty good, I think.
I use it every chance I get, when the power of xylene is not necessary.

I am going to pick up some denatured alcohol this weekend and try it, and then try xylene. Thank you for the suggestion xray, and I will give you full credit if it works. Yes, I was being a crybaby when I complained about the jokes, I apologize. If that doesn't work, then I am going to look around a few junkyards and see if I can find a good interior to pull parts from. And lastly, I will try the insurance company and see what they say. Does that sound like a good plan? And as far as guy or girl for the threesome, uh, well, lets just say, um, that uh, that's a um, kind of a, uh, personal decision, and um, I'll just worry about that myself.
