actually i was reading in the owners manual that the 360 only has more torque and barely any more horse because of the compression ratio, i think the 318 is something like 8.9:1 and the 360 is like 8.0:1 but maybe the headers might be swappable and the intake
Its the same engine. The crank and maybe a couple other stupid little things are different. Most of the parts are the same and won't make a bit of difference
externally they are the same, internally they are not. the 5.9 has a slightly bigger bore, and slightly longer stroke. if the bores were the same, you still would have a 5.2
on the older dodge 318's the bore and stroke is 3.91x3.31 inches and on the 360's its 4.00x3.58inches. i don't think any of the parts off a 360 would give your 318 any more power.

the 5.9 is externally balanced and the 5.2 is internally balanced.
