Along with everyone else, don't f*ck around with the insurance company. Fight until they replace the bumper with a genuine OEM Mopar bumper.

Also, like someone else said, make sure the hitch wasn't destroyed. And lets see the front end of the 'Burb.. I bet it doesn't look half as good as your bumper.

i appreciate all of the advice. i have been in my share of wrecks and dealt with insurance companies more than i would like to admit. however, never know when you might learn something new.

at first glance...an innocent clipboard, that goes with me EVERYWHERE.

but if needed...it holds all i need to handle a "handle"

 

so she was stuck on your hitch and you just sat there? i would have put it in 4lo and gunned it and ripped her bumper off.

 

dude...i was the first vehicle at a redlight. not much i could do.

also...i dont have 4low...lol.

when when i realized what had happened and got out of the vehicle the light turned green and traffic going around me was my number 1 concern.

i tried to pull us apart (secretly trying to pull her bumper off...lol) but all i was doing was draggin her into the intersection. when the cop got there (motorcycle cop...and loopy...lol) he walked right past us and went about a 100 feet behind us. he was staring at the road while he was walking back shaking his head. when he got back to us he looked at her and asked her if she even tried to stop...i almost busted out laughing...lol.

i couldnt get my tailgate opened to get my own hammer, but for some strange reason the cop had one in his saddle bag...??? used the hammer to knock out the hitch pin and then just drove off of it.

i was/still pretty pissed...but what can you do? ya know.
