Default Directional Switch?

So the directional switch, multi-switch, if broken internally, could make the following not work?

Turn Signals
Hazard lights
Brake lights.

My headlights & tail-lights work. While I am certain I don't know much, I am just wondering if the brake lights are routed or affected by the directional switch in the steering column???

Or are the brake lights a seperate issue?..coincidence breaks lights not working or connected?

Thanks

Sorry that didn't help. Are you sure you have inspected the wires in the column real good? And you did remove and check the headlight switch too right? And the fuses out under the hood?

Couldn't find any "ground" at the rear at a connector...please expand?
follow the ground wire from the tail light thats all, its a black piece that all the wires go into and comeback out of. you'll know when you see it, my ground broke right out of that harness, re-routed it, and everything worked again

my problem was the exact same thing as yours

Wires looked good, headlight switch too! Changed and/or checked all fuses under the hood and by the drivers door--all good.

When your ground broke, did you still have tail lights/park lights, just not brake lights?

Since I cost you money for no reason, you probably don't want to listen to me anymore! LOL But, do you have parking lights? I'm afraid at this point, your last option is to replace the headlight switch. Like the multi switch, it can be bad internally.

Default It was you?....lol

Yeah, I have headlights and park lights...all lights, license plate light, markers, tailights, headlights...

Its just those darn no turn signals, no hazards and no brake lights.

That multi turn signal switch was new...plus new flasher (the multi in the fuse box--) plus all new fuses.

All I can say is, you should download the FSM from the DIY or FAQ section up top and trace the wires, if the headlight switch does not fix it.
