35's and 4:56 gears would do just fine. 4.88s are the tallest they make for the Chrysler 9.25 rear end.

depends on what you mean by "biggest".

lowest...?

highest...?

BTW 10.56 would pull a hole in hell but wouldnt get you ever about 15 mph in overdrive.

I know for sure, 4.88 for the 1500's with the Chrysler 9.25 is the best you can do.

I think 5.13 for the 2500/3500's with Dana 60/70/80 axles.

Set of 66" tractor tires would remedy that.

4.56 gears with 35's bring all the final gear ratios back to stock.(thats why the speedo would be dead on again with no computer mods)....which I imagine 4.88's would do for 38 or 40" tires but even 4.88's are kinda usless since our 1500 axles cant reliable handle anything bigger than a 35" tire without chewing up wheel bearings like a drunk would booze or driving like and an old man lookin for the cemetery to rest....seriously if you "use your truck for anything more than a show piece or poser ride you should go with heavier axles....I see so many ads for ram 1500's with 40" tires that either mention "new wheel bearings" or "needs wheel bearings"
Of course there is an exception to every rule I'm sure....

Well, I have 4.56 in mine, and you can do up to 4.88 for sure.
You'll need a new carrier with 4.10 and up, or else get a thick gear. I had a thick gear 4.10 at one time.
