So im thinking that my exhaust needs alot of work, i still have the factory headers, or boat anchors, and i was told that there was a recall for the catalitic converters on these trucks? i may be wrong though, and i was also told the glass pack i have on it is power robbing, so basically what would be good things to get for my exhaust? ik these things are really complicated so i was thinking just about redoing the whole thing because if i got new headers a new catalitic converter, and a new muffler all i would have to buy is pipe and hangers so any help is much appreciated thanks guys

 

i havent heard about any recalls. mines a 95 with 193K and its the original cat. and last week i chopped off the exhaust and straight piped it. got a nice deep tone, and runs great

 

i have a 99 with the stock cat and mine is straight piped also. i love it
