Oil pressure grrrrrrrr....
Well at least you got your problem fixed ime still up the creek without a paddle... I still dont know what my problem is... Since you just did your rebuild you found your problem out but mine has 140xxx on it and i have no clue what it could be... Do yall think my C-Rod bearings are worn out or loose causing a loss of oil pressure???
yeah i know just rushing and had a little to much faith in machinist. live and learn i guess. do i think ur c-rod bearing r worn most likely but i think u should try mechanical gauge and if nothing then replace ur pump and pickup

This is why I asked of you had an metal shavings in the bottom of your oil pan. It could very well be clearances. Mine went bad because the previous owner let it sit for 4 years and never started it. A layer of rust coated my bearings and within a week I had no oil pressure when at an idle. I'm suggesting that if you can bring your idle up and your oil pressure comes up, then it may just be a clearance issue.

i didnt have flakes but i didnt run her long or hard enough to frig it up. i finally got a pic up of my p/u not bad for 1200 new tires, clean int., bedliner, new brakes, and he had a brand new wheel barrel in the bed he gave me lol. just cost me about 1600 for all engine work so i think i got pretty good deal and ride for total of 2800
Send your engine oil out for analysis. It can tell you if there is too much bronze or other bearing metals in your oil, an indication of excessive wear. I do it every 3rd oil change. Here's the company I use. For $32 they send you a collection kit and a prepaid mailer. This is the company I use:

That is a very good idea I'm going to start using that service myself. Alot of truckers use oil analysis.
