I was changing the oil in my truck today and noticed a noise coming from near the pcv valve. If I moved the hose around a little it wasnt as noticeable. It was a chatter like sound or maybe a tap.Not sure.Any ideas??

inside the PCV valve theres a little jiggler. with it flappin around it could make a chatter noise, but if i remember correctly, if theres excessive suction the plenum might be goe. check down in your TB and see if theres oil.

I didnt see it until i actually took off the throttle body and looked in. found i had a bad plenum. so as of right now my intake manifold and hughes plenum plate is in my bathroom! (cleaning manifold)

clean it outside with carb cleaner and paper towels. it'll be easier. then you can burn the paper towels after and get a nice little (brief) fire.
