For the AAL's just make sure you get some that are designed to fit between the overload spring and the stock leaf pack. Otherwise you'll have to pull the leaf packs apart which is a HUGE pain in the a**.

Y'know...I happen to have a brand new set of NIB D20 skyjacker springs in RED, sitting in my shop...and I haven't decided if I'm gonna install them this spring. Part of the reason is the color, and that they won't solve my "dodge lean" which I believe is caused by the rear leaves sagging.

Personly I think you are better putting the spring in the pack rather than on the pack.

I saw it the first time lol, and I thank you for the suggestion, but I'm trying to spend about $250 or less here. If I wanted to spend $500-1000 I'd be all ears, but we're rapidly approaching Christmas, and it's a thrifty time of year.

What are you getting the Miss? And the kid or kids? You got to wait until after turkey day to use that word. Everyone skips turkey day.

Will these Hell Bent Steel Coil spring spacers work on a 2WD? I dont see why it would matter but maybe it does. I've got helper springs in the back so I kinda want to level it out

now as far as i know you get about 1.5" lift with off road edition springs, 2" with 2500 (v10) springs and 3" with 3500 springs.
so if someone confirms this then you'll know which ones you will need (olyelr knows about the 1 ton spring height difference).
now what you should do is call these guys http://www.mintonmotorsinc.com/index.html and see how much their 2500 (v10) springs cost. i doubt it will be too much. the website is pretty basic but they keep about 50 rams on the lot all the time.

Thanks Sheriff. I read what you said over on the other thread too about the pro-comp leafs probably sucking. So for only $25 more I'll just get the tough country ones.

I'll see what the deal is with the 2500 V8 coils too, if they're any cheaper than the the 1500 2" lift coils.

dsertdog56 still interested in the RED coils
