Default no spark....no power to fuel pump please help!!!

Well I left my house and made it quarter mile down the road and the truck shut down. Now it will crank over and all interior light and dash lights work. So right away I check my fuel pressure and none. So now i think fuel pump....NOPE changed that and still nothing(thats what i get for not checking power to pump i guess) so then i checked for spark and had none. so someone told me that it could be the crank sensor went bad and was triping the automatic shutdown relay. so i had a new one of those on another motor i had in the garage and put that in and still have nothing. I have also check all fuses and fuseable links that i could find. I tried changing out the automatic shutdown relay and also looked over ground wires and nothing seem very bad. So now i am not sure what to do. And i dont want to just start playing the change out parts game. if anyone has any ideas of things i could look for and test i could really use the help right now. thanks for you time and reading my book here.
