My fist post since joining. I am looking forward to getting through all the threads.

I have a 98 4x4. About 7 years ago I had to have the AC part deep within the dash replaced (I have since heard almost everyone did) Well when the shop (now 3 states away) put it all back together I didn't have ANY air flow from the upper vents over the radio. It blasts out on the floor vents however. I never worried to much about it because the truck was used for occasional dump runs....

Now I am putting some $$$$ and effort into making it numero uno in the fleet.

Any idea where I could start looking for the solution? Do I have to remove the whole dash face. cup holders etc?

 

Check your cables and vacumm lines. Could have a broken recir door to.

 

I think it's a vacume line. Does it work on all other settings?
