It looks like they are just trying to get rid of some old stock.

I know that the diesel springs will net 3" of lift on a 1500

Is there any lift from V-8 2500 springs? I've gotten mixed answers on this one.

the springs will fit all 94-02, the v-10 and diesel springs are the same, and i believe the v8 springs are lighter, there for not as much lift... but like zman said, once you go higher than the levling kit, you need a drop pitman arm, track bar relocator, and longer control arms, shocks... and maby drive shafts

+1, I forgot about the control arms, might as well just buy a kit.

Could you just use the stock control arms off the diesel thay should be longer.

does anyone by chance know where the cutoff is for changing the above, I'm debating between a 3"body or another 3" of suspension. (sry didn't wanna start a new thread just for that)

You're good up to about 3-3.5" of lift with your stock steering components, if that's what you're asking. Most 3" kits come with lower control arms or drop brackets, maybe drop pitman arms, but they aren't necessary.

Shocks are optional till about 3-3.5 inches as well. You don't NEED them yet, but they are pretty well topped out at that height and you'll want to replace them before long.

If you were just going to get one of the other, get the suspension lift, but they look good together.

I guess I should have specified more, I already have a 3" level kit and the 3" blocks that I'm guessing were stock so it would be 6 all-together, the main thing I was worried about was the driveshafts, the problem with a body lift is I'd need to redo my exhaust so it doesn't hang, But thats a lot cheaper than new driveshafts lol.
