Rims...of course!
So I am planning on doing some major cash on my truck...and soon! Like tune-up (new wires, plugs and blah!). Also a lift so I decided hmmm...maybe new rims?
ANYWAY...before you all say do a search...I did but my question rims is picky!
So I want 16" rims...first should I go with 8" width or could I pull off 10" width rims? BTW 285/75R16.
Again 16" rims...black...backspacing...umm 4" I think...stock for us is 5" so 4" or less cause I want them to stick out! oh and finally...something that won't break my wallet!!!!!!
ideas? links?

Haha, I'm actually looking at running almost the same set up as you are. I have the same tires and size but want new black wheels. These are what I'm going for check them out. I'm getting 16"x8" and I was also wondering with the backspace because I also want them to stick out alittle bit.

Replaced them with 4 inch backspaced 10" wide aluminuim rims and they stick out a hair more but my 35" tires almost rub at full turn now.....
for some reason when they stick out it makes the tires seem bigger. Although too much makes them look goofy wears your wheel bearings faster and can get you a ticket.
oh yeah and those steel rims are heavy!

Good I like strong wheels But I figure a 16x8 inch wheel with a 4 inch backspacing should work well with my 33x11.50 bfg all terrians. I think they looked pretty damn good on your truck to.

Oh and the talk about the black steel rims (cragars or unique) I originally looked into those but like said above with 5" backspacing they don't stick out at all...they are basically the same as stock, just wider.
