go with the rubber seals and silicone, but only a small bead. ive never heard of people using only silicone. sounds shakey. i was in your position and i decided to install mine and do the heads and other mods as the money came in. if you wait you might have to keep putting off due to unexpected expenses. but all at once would probably be easier, and just plain cool. im real happy with mine. its only been a couple hundred miles, but its sweet. i hope you like yours as much

I wish I could buy one.....I don't think I would be able to get it past the wife......I guess I could break out the hammer and go to town on my intake.
