Hi all, putting on a new truxedo tonnau cover and noticed it is about 2 inches to narrow near the cab.
I measured the bed and it is 65 1/2 inches near the cab and 63 1/2 at the tail gate. looking down the sides it appears to match up fine with the rest of the body and perfect with the tailgate.
This can't be normal can it? 2001 quad cab.

 

that doesn't sound normal to me. that makes me want to measure mine. my tonneau cover fits perfect.

 

2" difference on mine too...wierd...i never noticed it

i have a LUND rollup and love it!

 

well mine is 62 3/4" in the rear and 65 3/4" in the front. wierd. but my cover fits perfect.

 

its wider in the back because of the wheels/axle, and yes the cab is more narrow than the rear of tailgate. right after the wheel wells in the bed is where it starts to go more narrow

my dads, my friends dads, and mine are all more narrow at the front...but none are the sports

well, now thats a great way to contradict my statement lol.

i guess it varies...but if it worked for Sheriff and he had the more narrow at front, i dont think you'll have a problem
